Haters

This is a certain type of people, many are bound o put up with. This idea for this post started when I worked serving corn and frozen fruits. It was an interesting experience, everyone was friendly making the the moments when no one was around very depressing. However, one person I've met stood out, there was this lady I began to talk too (don't ask me how she looked like, I don't remember anymore). The conversation we had was mostly small talk until eventually a woman comes out of a tattoo place nearby. She didn't do anything other than simply walkout of that place. Long story short, she began go on about her going to hell simply because she has tattoos.

My thoughts that came to mind:
1) First she mentions that's its in the bible that somehow altering your body equals hell. The bible also states let he without sin cast the first stone. Nobody's perfect, I mean the old lady  is basically trying to compare herself in order to show off her superiority, that's already an example of the the deadly sin pride.
2) Secondly no one can just simply assume another's afterlife, we are not god nor should we play him(I don't know his gender).

It seems that the person boasting about how better she is a type of hater. It is obvious that the lady is hating on the person for having tattoos and then hide behind the pretense of religion in order to justify their reasoning. At least she wasn't an extremist, she might have said that her religion is the only one, many have done atrocities with the pretense of god being on their side (crusades). People hate for a number of reasons, usually for not agreeing with the ideas, or a superficial aspect that goes against his/her vision of an ideal world.

All haters do is look for a flaw not realizing that doing so is also flaw itself. Haters will always be around, you may be the nicest person in the world, and someone will still have a problem with you. The best thing to do sometimes is nothing. Unless they act on their hate, they are harmless. Don't worry about them, worry about yourself. Life is only given once, spend your time given being you, as long as you're not harming anyone you have every right to be.

Darkness: double-edged sword

Is it good?
It may look weird, but friends can come in many different shapes or forms. This particular one is known as lack of light. Personally, I consider this to be one of my closest. The shade it veils you in can make you feel protected, like no else can see you, as if it removes you from problems. It can also remove you from distractions, for me it helps when I need to think or meditate.

Is it bad?
Anything good has its flip side. As told before, it keeps you from possible problems but it comes with its own. Being away from everything may look harmless at first, but when given time you will start having your own "Wilson" to scream at.There would be no sight to behold, no human contact, it would be maddening to stay there. We were made curious, we were made to be social, avoiding any of our own basic needs is unhealthy.

Take from it...
Darkness is there for everyone. It won't hurt you but lingering with in it is not always the best option. The darkness is unique to everyone, to me it is what I called it. It comes in many shapes or forms, so it is different for everyone, whether you know it or not, you need it. It is not wrong to want some space but removing yourself may be just as wrong.
